En Classe: 8 février

Bonjour, bonjour!
  • Vous avez passé un examen au jour'd hui!  On the test:
    • Chapitre Cinq vocabulaire
    • Verbes et les conjugations: -er verbes, -re verbes, faire, prendre, être, avoir
    • Quelle heure est-il?
    • Random things from previous chapitres (date, time, months, days of week, adjectives, negation, class vocab, computer vocab, family, home, possessives, plurals with -x, aimer+inf)
  • We talked about de, de la, des, d', du!  Hopefully we'll clear everything up, just like magic!  :)  (If we don't complete the set of worksheets, we'll do more with it next week- no worries!!)
This week!  Cette semaine!

  • Watch THIS VIDEO.  The girls are adorable- they speak beautiful French, and they talk about dos and don'ts for visiting France- there are subtitles, so cover them up first, and then uncover to see how you did.  :)

  • De, de la, des, d', du practice WORKSHEET!
  • Now that we've studied all of that stuff, see if you can understand what Pierre is saying!

  • It won't let me embed this, but here's A BONUS VIDEO for you!  :)

en classe: 25 janvier 2017

Be sure to check in on MONDAY for the next few weeks of planning!  Not THIS Wednesday, but Wednesday the 8th, we'll be testing on Chapitre Six!  On Wednesday, Feb. 15th, we'll begin Chapitre Sept.
----------------------
Bonjour!  If all went to plan, we...
> turned in homework (and Q&A).
> culture day, and
> practiced ordering/taking orders in a restaurant!

Les devoirs pour cette semaine!

NOTE:  If you FIGURE OUT the de, de la, d', des, du, etc., you can stop.  Be sure to keep notes of all of the online activities you do.  In fact, pull out a sheet now, and write:

1. Self-check quiz Score:
2. de, de la, des quiz Score:
3. This is how I did on the game:
4. Here's how I did with the second game:
5.  Here's how I did editing the letter

Then turn that in as well as your Faire worksheet.  :)
  • Back to work!  Go over your vocabulary!  When you're done, TAKE THIS SELF-CHECK QUIZ.
  • Read up in de, de la, des HERE!  Take the quiz at the bottom of the page, and COMMENT BELOW with your score!
  • Read up AGAIN HERE.  Then click on the "Word of Caution" at the bottom to follow-up.
  • Play THIS GAME.  Use it with INTERNET EXPLORER because it is NOT working well in Chrome.  :)  How did you do?
  • Now TRY THIS.    What did you think?
  • Try EDITING THIS LETTER.
  • Worksheet!  "More Fun With Faire!
Now that you've done all of that, how is your understanding of de, de la, du, des?  It helped ME!!  I still have a few questions that I'm working out, so stay tuned!  Also, after studying this, I realized I have a few problems (my fault) on the previous homework assignment (just this last week)*.  I'll let you know when I have it fully figured out- enough so I can teach it instead of just knowing instinctively.

* So I have used it correctly for the most part, but I freaked out when I came across these things, and I messed up trying to do it better!  Meh, it happens!  We'll get this!
