En Classe: 5 avril 2017

Cette semaine!

  • Nous avons parlé de Quel, Quelle, Quels, Quelles.
  • Nous avons parlé de Tout, Toute, Tous, Toutes.
  • Nous avons appris des verbes irregulier, Sortir, Partir, Dormir, Servir.
  • Nous avons révisé les verbes dans un work-sheet.
Pour les devoirs!
  • Whatever verbs we didn't finish together on the Verb Sentences worksheet, you'll be finishing on your own at home.  :)  Sorry-not-sorry that there are so many sentences!  :)  Treat the homework like a TEST and then fill in after that.
  • Mots croisés- Chapitre Huit Vocabulaire!  Treat THIS like a test, too- after you've really studied the words, then try and get the words.  These include articles, like last time.
  • Practice with Tout, Toute, Tous, Toutes and Quel, Quelle, Quels, Quelles.  Watch THIS VIDEO if you need additional instruction!
  • For more instruction for Tout, here's a video, BUT it's in French! Try it! Here's another one in French... Maybe this one can help. (Also, get used to seeing more videos in French- that's all that's out there, and it will help with comprehension!
  • Study up on the IRREGULAR verbs we learned today.
Bonus video!  What verb did we learn this week that appears in the video!  Either share your answer in the comments, or email me, or text me (or SOMEthing before class next week) and you earn extra credit!

If you want to break just a little (because the twenty sentences weren't quite enough!!), you can watch THIS video, and that should do the trick.  It's kind of cool listening to him speak so quickly!

En classe: 22 mars 2017

Au jour'd hui!

  • We did paper dolls, yayyy!
  • We did a Marshmallow Verb Review, yayyy!
Pour les devoirs!
  • Finish the Chapitre Sept Vocabulaire Mots Croisés Worksheet.  :)
  • Study for the test next week.  The test is over CHAPTERS SIX AND SEVEN!  Here are some ideas *cough, cough* for study:
    • Study your homework.
    • In addition to the verbs we studied in class, cover as many types of verbs as possible.  There are TEN VERBS to conjugate on the test!
    • Study contractions (such as à + le)
    • Study de, de la, des, du, un, une... Le partitif.  There are only four sentences directly on this topic, but the idea appears throughout.
    • Study these words so they're fresh for the test.
      • enthusiastic
      • fat
      • expensive
      • lovely
      • figure out how you'd say "greater than"
      • "Don't ask" is the negative of the command TO ASK.  Ask = demander.
      • nice = gentil, gentils, gentille, gentilles.
That's more than I usually give you for a test, and hopefully it will help.  :)

Good luck studying!
